These terms explain how you can use Fluent Listening. They are an agreement between you and Fluentli LLC (Texas, USA). By using the service, you agree to these terms.

What Fluent Listening is

Fluent Listening helps schools and teachers organize listening content, run classes, and track student listening activity and progress.

Accounts and roles

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated.
  • Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Teacher and school admin accounts are responsible for managing class memberships and permissions.
  • If you are using an account provided by a school, your school may control or remove your access.

Acceptable use

Please use Fluent Listening responsibly. You agree not to:

  • Break any law or violate anyone's rights.
  • Upload or share harmful, abusive, or infringing content.
  • Try to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to use.
  • Interfere with the service (including scraping, malware, or denial-of-service behavior).
  • Misrepresent student activity or abuse reporting features.

Content and ownership

  • You keep ownership of content you add to the platform.
  • You give us permission to host and process that content only to operate and improve the service.
  • You are responsible for making sure you have rights to use any videos, text, or files you add.
  • Third-party services (for example, video or classroom integrations) have their own terms, and those terms also apply.

Plans, trials, and billing

  • Paid plans are billed on the schedule shown at checkout (monthly or yearly).
  • If a trial is offered, paid billing starts after the trial unless you cancel first.
  • You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the selected payment method for your subscription.
  • Taxes may apply. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable after the billing period starts.

Service changes

We may update features from time to time. We may also suspend parts of the service for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Fluent Listening at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk to users, schools, or the service.

No promise of perfect uptime

We work hard to keep Fluent Listening reliable, but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation at all times.

Liability limits

To the extent allowed by law, Fluent Listening is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for claims related to the service is limited to the amount paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, USA, unless local consumer or education laws that apply to you require otherwise.
